Meet Attorney Robert S. Betnar

I spent over two decades serving as a Pennsylvania State Trooper, where I led complex investigations and built a career rooted in service and accountability. During that time, I also earned my law degree and began building a legal practice focused on helping people in my community. One of the cases I solved—a 24-year-old cold case—received national recognition and was featured on Discovery ID’s The Nightmare Next Door, Trouble in Coal Country, and A&E’s Cold Case Files (Season 2, The Bone Collector).

Only one in 100,000 cold cases are ever solved—and I’m proud to have been part of one of them.

Today, I bring that same sense of purpose and steady approach to every legal matter I take on—whether it’s estate planning, family law, or personal injury. My clients can count on me to stay grounded, prepared, and committed from start to finish.
